A man who's serving several life sentences in Texas for strangling three women has confessed to up to 90 murders all over the country.
One of those claims involves an unsolved murder here in Central Maryland.
79-year-old Samuel Little says he killed a woman in a wooded area near Laurel, back in 1972.
Little claims he met the woman in a bus station in Washington DC, and then they drove north toward Laurel. He says they had sex and then Little strangled the woman.
There was a woman's body found in that area a few months after the time Little says he was there, but it's been an unsolved murder since 1972.
Investigators now believe Little is responsible for the woman's death, but she has never been identified.
