A suspect wanted in connection to a double homicide in Burtonsville has been arrested.

Monday, Montgomery County Police apprehended 24-year-old Gregory Terrell Jones of Martinsburg West Virginia.

Jones is accused of murdering Ashley Susan Dickson, 34 and Joshua Michael Frazier, 29.

Police initially responded to Aldora Circle, just before 10:00 pm on February 15, after a neighborhood resident observed the two victims unresponsive inside a running vehicle.

Officers located the individuals and discovered both had been shot. The Medical Examiner ruled both deaths a homicide.

Detectives gathered evidence and received tips from the public, leading them to Jones and another man, Tyshon Jones ,25.

On February 17, Tyshon Jones (also known as Lamar Green) was shot to death at the Coco Loco Nightclub in Berkeley County, West Virginia. At the scene, a .45 caliber handgun belonging to Tyshon Jones was recovered. Investigators determined a second suspect fired a 9mm handgun during the nightclub incident. That subject was identified as Gregory Jones.

A forensic analysis of 9mm shell casings recovered from the West Virginia and Burtonsville crime scenes matched, linking them to Gregory Jones' firearm.

Police arrested Jones in Gaithersburg. He is currently being held without bond.
