Maryland State Police are investigating a deadly crash that happened on eastbound Rt. 392 Wednesday evening.

Chaz Joseph Wilson, 28, of Cambridge, was waiting for a tow truck after his car broke down. When the tow truck arrived, Wilson began to get out of the car. That's when another car traveling east on Rt. 392 hit him.

Wilson died at the scene. The driver of the car that hit him, 24-year-old Ryan Harrison Berry, of Delaware, remained at the scene after the crash. He was not hurt.

Troopers at the scene did not believe impairment was a factor in the crash.
