ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Governor Larry Hogan announced new appointments to the University of Maryland Medical System Board of Directors on Wednesday. These appointments are expected to be in place by July 1.

According to the Governor, the appointments deliver on his promise to "overhaul the board" following revelations of "self-dealing and wrongdoing."

“Bipartisan reforms to fix the problems at UMMS were a good first step, but I said that—still—more needed to be done,” Governor Hogan said. “I pledged that I would appoint new board members who will serve with integrity and accountability, and today, I am delivering on that promise.
