Good morning from the Maryland Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society!
March 10-16 is Multiple Sclerosis Awareness week. The WMAR-2 family has been touched by the disease. Julie Wigley works behind the scenes as the station's Assistant Creative Services Director. She was diagnosed with MS when she was 29 years old, just two months before her wedding.
Julie is participating in Baltimore's MS Walk this April. Her team has already raised nearly $5,000 to fight for a cure. You can support Team Wigley and track their progress here.
Julie has also started a blog to support those fighting Multiple Sclerosis and help others better understand the disease.
