Happy Birthday, Maryland!
The Old Line State celebrates its birthday the weekend of March 24-26 with several cultural events in honor of Maryland Day.
The state celebrates Maryland Day every year on March 25 to commemorate the day in 1634 when Maryland was settled.

Four Rivers Heritage Area is sponsoring the weekend for the 10th year in a row with shopping discounts and more than 40 events that are free or just $1.
Events include tours of historic homes and gardens, and arts festival and activities for kids.
