A Wednesday afternoon school bus crash ends with four students hospitalized.
At around 2:00 p.m., emergency crews responded to the intersection of Budds Creek and Horseshoe road in Clements, for a collision between a vehicle and St Mary's County school bus.
Police say the bus was occupied five times including 4 students and the driver. Each was taken to a local hospital for precautionary measures.
The driver of the vehicle involved was flown to an area trauma center by helicopter for injuries sustained.
A preliminary investigation revealed the school bus was traveling on Budds Creek when the other vehicle crossed the center line, striking the bus.
The incident remains under investigation.
