An annual international equestrian event could have a new, permanent home here in Maryland.
The U.S. Equestrian Federation's board of directors chose Fair Hill International in Cecil County the host the event known as a "four-star." It features "eventing", racing and steeplechase racing. Fair Hill was picked over Great Meadow International in Virginia.
The board of directors' recommendation now goes before the Federal Equestre Internationale for consideration this fall.
