During the investigation, investigators obtained video footage from inside the bus that shows the bus traveling in the center lane when a car driven by Menachem Backman approached in the fast lane.

Police initially believed Backman’s car clipped the bus causing it to flip over but in the video, the bus begins to change lanes forcing the car onto the shoulder. Once the car reached the front of the bus, the recording abruptly ends.

Investigators had been assured that the video was the complete recording.

Based on the video, the bus driver, Clarence Beamer Jr. will be charged with negligent driving contributing to an accident and failing to drive in a designated lane.
