One person is taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a fire rips through a home in Northwest D.C.
Crews had to fight the fire in the bitter cold, using flares to thaw out ladders and fire hydrants.
It was so cold, extra units came so firefighters could rotate out.
Four adults and a child were displaced from the fire.
