CALIFORNIA, Md (WMAR) - The body of a man who jumped from a boat into a river has been found.
Maryland Natural Resources Police say the 30-year-old man jumped into the Patuxent River near Myrtle Point Park Sunday evening.
First responders from Charles, Calvert and St Mary's Counties took part in search and rescue efforts.
At around 9:22 p.m., crews recovered the mans body in the same area he'd gone missing.
The Medical Examiners Office is expected to conduct an autopsy to determine official cause of death.
