One beach placing restrictions on some items families can bring on their trips.
Delaware's Bethany Beach is restricting tents and canopies on its beaches. Umbrellas with an eight foot diameter and tents no larger than 3 feet tall or wide are allowed.
All other shading devices will be banned.
The ban will be year round and violations lead to a $50-100 fine.
Rehoboth Beach and Fenwick Island have similar restrictions.
