U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders' campaign released its first spot to run in Maryland.
The thirty-second ad features Erica Garner, the daughter of Eric Garner, a New York man who died after being placed in a choke hold by a police officer.
Garner endorses Sanders saying, "people are dying; we need a president that's going to talk about it. I believe Bernie Sanders is a protestor. He's not scared to go up against the criminal justice system. He's not scared. That's why I'm for Bernie.
Maryland voters can cast their ballots April 26. If you're a first time voter, you can register to vote at your local polling location.
