3 teens die in single-car crash in Montgomery Co

Montgomery County Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash in Damascus that left three people dead Tuesday night.

Crews responded to the 25300 block of Burnt Hill Road at approximately 11:36 p.m. for the report of a serious crash involving a car that had left the roadway.

Preliminary investigation indicates that a black 1989 Ford F-250 was traveling southbound on Burnt Hill Road approaching Kingstead Road when, for reasons still under investigation, the vehicle left the roadway and hit a tree. 

The driver, identified as 17-year-old Jacob Tyler Dennisof the 15400 block of Barnesville Road in Boyds and a passenger, identified as 18-year-old Patrick Andrew Shifflett of the 9100 block of Charlie Farm Court in Laytonsville were pronounced dead at the scene.

 

An additional passenger, identified as Cary Mauri'ce Greene, 17, of the 22500 block of Muscadine Drive in Clarksburg was taken to Suburban Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
