Two people died, and a firefighter is injured after a house caught on fire in Seat Pleasant Thursday morning.

Prince George's County Fire said the home in the 6200 block of Foote Street was fully engulfed in flames

The department said they got the call around 5:30 in the morning and it was put out 20 minutes after getting to the scene.

Around 6:00 a.m., fire officials said they found the two unidentified bodies on the second floor.

The firefighter has a leg injury that is reportedly not serious.

Fire officials say the house was abandoned, but neighbors told WJLA they have seen squatters inside over the past couple weeks.

The victim's identities will not be released until an autopsy is complete.
