Officers are seeking the public's help in locating suspects in the burglary of a Washington County firearms store and the theft of more than one dozen handguns.
Shortly before 3:00 a.m. on Saturday troopers were called to the Clear Spring Gun Shop on National Pike after the alarm went off. Once on scene responding troopers confirmed a burglary and theft of firearms had just occurred.
Further investigation revealed two suspects forced their way into the business through the front door. The suspects then broke into a gun display case and stole 19 handguns. Police say the suspects were wearing dark clothing and masks. One suspect was carrying a small black colored handgun during the burglary.
A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the theft of firearms from the Clear Spring Gun Shop.
