Local emergency officials need the public’s help in gathering storm damage information from last month’s tornado that hit Queen Anne's County.
Queen Anne's County Department of Emergency Services (DES) and Maryland Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) are working on getting assistance to residents affected by the July 24 tornado, but need more information to move forward.
Damage reports can be sent by email to welcome@qac.org or by calling 410-758-4500 x1121. The following information should be included:
- Name, Address and Phone Number
- What type of damage did you experience?
- What is the estimated dollar amount of damage?
- What is the value of your property? (we can help look this up for you)
- How much of the damage was covered by insurance?
DES and MEMA representatives will also be walking door to door in the affected neighborhoods on
Wednesday after 4:30 p.m.
