Howard County police are investigating a fatal collision in Ellicott City, Md. early Monday morning.
A 2014 Toyota Corolla traveling westbound on Main Street at the 8500 block lost control in a curve around 1:20 a.m., leaving the road striking three unoccupied, parked vehicles.
The sole occupant of the car was the driver, Jeanette Marcella Carmody, 30, of Ellicott City. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are trying to determine the cause of the crash. Carmody was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.
