We all have that teacher that made us laugh, who we loved to hear stories from and who taught us how to learn.
For students at Wilde Lake High School, Laura Wallen was that teacher.
The news of Wallen's death came just as the community was gathering to pray for her safe return Wednesday evening. The evening turned to an emotional night for mourning.
"She's an amazing person, she truly is one of those special teachers," principal Rick Wilson said.

Grief counselors were at the school Thursday to help students impacted by their teacher's death.
Montgomery County Police said Wallen was found dead in a shallow grave after being reported missing for over a week. Her boyfriend, Tyler Tessier, has been charged with her death. She was four months pregnant with his child.
