COLUMBIA, Md. — Howard County Police are offering a reward up to $5,000 for information about an overnight deadly shooting in Columbia.

Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Governor Warfield Parkway and Twin Rivers Road at around 12:15 a.m. Friday for people fighting and gunshots being fired.

Near the scene in a parking lot on Nightmist Court, police found 24-year-old Anthony Tayvon McNeil, of Baltimore, suffering from gunshot wounds. He later died at Howard County General Hospital.

Detectives are still searching for suspects and a possible motive in the case.

Police are asking anyone in the area with a doorbell camera to check between 11 p.m. Thursday and 12:30 a.m. Friday for any footage that could be used as evidence in the case.
