Registration is open for the fourth year of the Zaching Running Festival.
It will be held Nov. 17 at Turf Valley in Ellicott City. Runners have until Wednesday to register on the event's website. It costs $80 for the 10k, $70 for the 5k and $25 per participant over the age of five for the family fun walk.
Funds raised during the festival go to the Zaching Against Cancer Foundation. It was created in honor of Zachary Lederer who lost his battle with brain cancer in 2014. The foundation works to improve the quality of life for cancer patients and their caregivers.
The festival will start at 8:30 a.m. at the Turf Valley Towne Square, 11075 Resort Road, Ellicott City. There will be a celebratory post-race party featuring the music of The Dixon Ulmer Band.
