As of 3 p.m. Wednesday, service had been restored to more than 49,000 customers, or about 95 percent of customers who lost power during the storm. BGE expects full customer restoration by Wednesday night.
More storms could be on the way. A second round of storms will hit the area Wednesday night into Thursday.
