The Maryland National Guard is helping with the emergency repair of a ruptured sewer line in Howard County.
The clean up effort comes days after severe flooding in the Ellicott City area.
The National Guard conducted low level helicopter flight operations to carry an 8,000 pound pump and other materials and equipment to a remote area along Sucker Branch Creek.
The area wasn't accessible by car and the county is currently building a road to the area of the leak.
People are encouraged to avoid the area.
