Service on the MARC Camden Line is suspended Friday morning due to police activity in Elkridge.
Howard County Police said a person was hit by a train near Washington Boulevard and Levering Avenue.
Passengers are advised to take the MARC Penn Line, which will honor all Camden Line tickets for equivalent stations. The D.C. Metro will also honor tickets for Camden Line passengers.
Officials said there's no timeline on when service will be restored.
Roads are open to traffic in the area.
