He's an actor on Lifetime who lives in Los Angeles. But Josh Kelly was raised in Columbia, and when he returns home, it's to help the Casey Cares Foundation.
This weekend Kelly co-hosted ‘Sing for A Cause’, a karaoke fundraiser to help critically ill children in Howard County.
Casey Cares supports activities and programs for over a thousand families with critically ill kids each year.
Kelly said investing in research is important but, in the meantime, he wants these families to have some fun;
“Last year what we did through the first Sing for A Cause we raised enough money to send a family on a trip to Atlantic City and they just go to take a break from worrying about life for a little bit.”
The Casey Cares foundation helps families and children in seven states.
