Howard County Police looking for missing 18-year-old

COLUMBIA, Md. — UPDATE:

Howard County Police say Kirkland was found and is being taken to the hospital for a check-up.

It's unclear who found her and where. Police wouldn't say if Tyler was injured.

Howard County Police are looking for a missing 18-year-old woman from Columbia who is described as having developmental disabilities.

Tyler Rose Kirkland left her residence in the 7200 block of Kindler Road around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. She was seen a short time later at the Subway in the Kings Contrivance Village Center, but her current location is unknown.

She is approximately 5 feet 6 inches, 179 pounds with cornrows. She was last seen wearing a white blouse with blue polka dots, blue jeans, and white sneakers.

Police are concerned for her well-being because she is developmentally disabled; not dressed for the cold weather; does not have a cell phone; and does not have any family or known friends nearby.

Anyone who sees her should call 911.
