Seven people safely made it out of their home after it caught fire on Tuesday night.
Howard County fire officials were on the 7400 block of Sandalfoot Way in Columbia just before 9:00 p.m. When they got to the house, they saw heavy fire showing from the garage of the home`, and it eventually collapsed.
Though the fire was controlled in an hour, crews had to stay longer to make sure everything was safe after the garage collapsed.
The seven people who lived in the home are staying with family and friends. No injuries were reported.
