Over 50 firefighters and paramedics responded to a fire at a Super 8 in Jessup.
According to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services, crews responded to the 8000 block of Washington Boulevard around 12:45 Friday morning.
When they got to the scene, crews found heavy smoke showing from the second floor of the motel. The fire was put out within 10 minutes and there were no reported injuries.
The fire was contained in one hotel room and the Office of the Fire Marshall is investigating what caused the fire.
