Flu season is expected to start in October and can last anywhere from February to May. That has doctors urging everyone to get vaccinated early.
To help keep kids safe Howard County Public Schools are holding free vaccine clinics. The district is teaming up wit the Maryland Partnership for Prevention to offer flu shots in all Howard County schools in October.
Parents who want their kids to get vaccinated need to fill out a consent form and turn it in by September 21. For more information and a link to the form you can fill out online, click here.
