The Celebration of Life Ceremony and burial for Howard County Firefighter Lieutenant Nathan Flynn took place on Saturday.
Flynn died from injuries that he sustained in a seven-alarm house fire on Monday.
Throughout his Celebration of Life Ceremony, a couple of people, like Maryland Governor Larry Hogan; Howard County Executive Allan Kittleman; and Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services' Fire Chief John S. Butler, spoke about Flynn. His wife also said a couple words.
After the ceremony, Flynn was laid to rest.
Flynn's viewing was held on Friday and it brought first responders from all over Maryland to Joppa to pay their respects to Flynn and his family.
