People were again allowed to briefly return to their homes in Ellicott City to gather belongings Friday, nearly a week after flood waters forced them to leave.
Kelly McMillan said work clothes and food for her cat and bird were on the list of things she needed to get from home.
Last weekend the U.S. Coast Guard rescued McMillan, her husband and their pets along with three neighbors from the third floor of her home on Main Street.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the couple recover from the flood.
