After a year of rebuilding, Ellicott City is close to being completely open for business.
On Saturday, a ribbon cutting was held for Joan Eve Classics & Collectibles. The antique store located on Main Street was one of the hardest hit, as the river surged and came through the building in a matter of minutes back in 2016. Joan Eve Shea-Cohen, the owner of Joan Eve Classics & Collectibles, lost everything.
After rebuilding her antique collection and treasures, Joan Eve reopened at a new, smaller location on Main Street in the Great Panes Building.
