#ECStrong Festival scheduled for Saturday

Posted

Those looking to help support the Ellicott City community following the devastating floods of May, and hoping to have a good time doing it, will get another chance this weekend at the #ECStrong Festival.

The event, scheduled from noon to 8 p.m. July 28 at the Howard County Living Farm Heritage Museum in West Friendship, Md., will feature the offerings of local craft breweries, wineries and distilleries, showcasing more than 15 live bands and local food trucks.

The event is family friendly, featuring an "amazing kid zone," the organizers, Intrinsic Events and Giggy's BBQ & Catering, said in a statement.

100 percent of the profits will go to the EC Partnership, a local 501 C3 organization that assists local businesses and families affected by the flooding.

Tickets cost $20 per person prior to the event, $25 at the gate.
