ELLICOTT CITY, Md. — A 12-year-old was killed after falling off her bicycle and into the path of a dump truck just before 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
Howard County Police say the crash happened in the 2000 block of Daniels Road.
The girl, identified Wednesday as Savinka Selluka from Ellicott City, was declared dead at the scene.
The driver of the dump truck remained at the scene and was not injured.
Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
