Police have identified a man run over by his own pick up truck in Howard County Tuesday afternoon.
Police said Richard Wright of Baltimore was killed when his Ford F-150 truck rolled over him in the 1000 block of Wincopin Circle in Columbia around 4 p.m.
Investigators believe Wright parked the truck on an incline but failed to put the vehicle in park, allowing it to roll backwards. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no other injuries.
