Officials have shortened the access window for Ellicott City's Main Street.
Residents and business owners were initially expected to have access to the area from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m through Monday, Aug. 22. That time has been pushed back to a window from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Locals will be allowed to return to their property to clean up, make repairs and move out of their buildings, however rebuilding efforts aren't allowed.

A supply truck will be on site distributing cleaning supplies. After Monday, Main Street will be closed for three weeks to give public works crews time to work on the reopening of Main Street.
Officials hope to reopen the area to pedestrian traffic around Sept. 16.
