The town of Ellicott City held a weekend of events commemorating a year since July’s devastating flooding.

Events included the dedication of the new town clock, which was held on the B&O Museum Plaza, as well as a tour of the historic town.

Howard County Executive Allan H. Kittleman honored those who lost their life in the flood at the clock dedication.

Shop owners say they are excited to see familiar patrons returning to the area, and hope Ellicott City will once again be a local tourist attraction.

Events for Sunday include Yoga and Meditation, and tours at the Museum of Howard County.
