ELKRIDGE, Md. — A 9-year-old boy is suffering life-threatening injuries after a car struck him on his bike Friday evening in Elkridge, according to Howard County Police.

Police say a little before 4:30 p.m., a Jeep Wrangler driving eastbound on the 6100 block of Hunt Club Road hit a 9-year-old boy on his bicycle. Police believe the boy was struck after he rode his bike on the road from a residential driveway.
