Howard County Police are investigating a Tuesday morning fatal collision involving a pedestrian in Jessup.
Police said a pedestrian was walking in the roadway when he was struck by a 2003 Toyota Tacoma traveling eastbound on Route 175, Waterloo Road in front of the Patuxent Institution. The pedestrian was identified as 43-year-old Donnell Markus Williams of Jessup. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The uninjured driver of the Tacoma, identified as 54-year-old Jefferey Fullard of Baltimore, stayed at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing. Route 175 was closed for three hours in both directions between Pocomoke Avenue and Oceano Avenue.
