BEL AIR, Md. — The Harford County Health Department is offering low-cost rabies vaccinations for World Rabies Day.

World Rabies Day is on September 28 and in an effort to raise awareness about rabies, the Harford County Health Department is partnering with 4 Paws Spa and Training Center to give discounted rabies vaccinations.

Veterinarians will vaccinate dogs, cats, and ferrets for $8.00 per animal. Plus, pet owners will be offered $3.00 discounts for “wash and dry self–service” through 4 Paws Spa and Training Center with the vaccination of a dog, cat, or ferret.

“We are delighted to continue this important partnership with 4 Paws Spa and Training Center and its owner, Robin Greenwood, for our 12th consecutive year. Without their cooperation and support, this very successful annual event would not be possible,” said Dan Driscoll, Program Supervisor of the Rabies and Vector Control Program.

Harford County Health Department will conduct a clinic on Saturday, September 28 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the 4 Paws Spa and Training Center located at 121-A Industry Lane in Forest Hill.
