Hill was one of three victims, 57-year-old Ernest Milton Lee and 47-year-old Kimberly Ann Shupe, who lost their lives after a fire on the top floor of a townhouse on Simons Court spread to the lower floors.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire.

The Office of the State Marshall has since cited the property manager for multiple code enforcement violations at other properties he manages. They are also working to conduct additional inspections on his other properties to ensure safety protocols have been met.
