Suspicious pressure cooker found to be empty at Bel Air Plaza

BEL AIR, Md. — The Bel Air Police Department were called to Bel Air Plaza in response to a suspicious pressure cooker.

At about 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the Bel Air Plaza in reference to a pressure cooker in the parking lot to the back of Slices Pizza.

The Maryland State Fire Marshals Office Bomb Technicians were requested to evaluate the package. At about 3:30pm, the package was determined to be safe and not a threat.

Police say the area has been returned to normal operation.
