HARVE DE GRACE, Md. — A student was detained after allegedly stabbing two teachers Roye-Williams Elementary School in Harford County on Tuesday

Student detained after allegedly assaulting 2 teachers
The Harford County Sheriff's Office says the teachers have non-life-threatening injuries, and no students were hurt.
School staff , deputies and a School Resource Officer quickly acted, providing immediate first aid for the teachers. They were hospitalized but have since been released.
Detectives are actively communicating with the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services and the Harford County State’s Attorney’s Office to determine the appropriate course of action moving forward.
“The safety of our students and school staff is my absolute priority,” said Sheriff Gahler. “While state law limits the information we can release at this time, please know that swift effective actions were taken by school staff and responding deputies to prevent further injury."
