Police officers are known to protect and serve, but one officer found herself winging on Saturday during an unusual call.

Officer Krejci along with Animal Control responded to a call about an injured Osprey in need of help. The Osprey had its left wing injured, so the officer flew into action to help out.

She took the feathery fella to Chadwell Animal Hospital for further treatment after taking a picture with her new friend.
