Training and testing at Aberdeen Proving Ground may cause noise disturbances for Harford County residents Wednesday and Thursday.
The U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command and U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center will run operations that may be heard and felt outside of the facility, though they pose no hazard to participants or the surrounding community, officials with Aberdeen Proving Ground said.
With weapons and watercraft activity during daytime and nighttime hours, residents may hear munitions firings or see flashes of light. Officials will take action to mitigate the impact on the community as best as possible. If anyone from the area is concerned during the testing period, they are encouraged to contact Aberdeen Proving Ground officials at 443-861-6727.
