BEL AIR, Md. — A 27-year-old man has died after nearly drowning in a pool on Sunday evening in Bel Air.

Harford County Fire officials say the incident happened at a private residential pool in the 1700 block of Redfield Road.

The victim was reportedly found at the bottom of the pool and pulled out by others on scene who began CPR.

When medics from the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company arrived, the man was in cardiac arrest and quickly transported to an area hospital, where he later died.

The man's name has not yet been released.

Harford County Sheriff's Office officials said the incident does not appear to be suspicious at this time.
