A lightning strike caused thousands of dollars worth of damage to a building in Harford County, fire officials said.
The State Fire Marsal said lightning from strong thunderstorms passing through Harford County ignited a shed in the 2300 block of Conowingo Road causing $5,000 in damages.
People passing by the blaze called 911. The owners of the home were not home at the time of the fire. There are no reported injuries.
