With the current School Superintendent set to retire, a vote naming a successor has been scheduled.
On Monday evening, the Harford County Board of Education will vote on the appointment of a new School Superintendent.
The nominee, who's name is not being released, until officially being voted in will succeed the retiring Barbara P. Canavan who has held the position since February 24, 2014.
Board Members are expected to vote at approximately 6:35 p.m.
