A Harford County family has donated a rocking chair to a local hospital to honor their daughter's first birthday.
Stefanie and Eric Kuehn of Forest Hill presented a check to the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air on Thursday afternoon.
Doctors at the hospital helped delivered their daughter, Caroline, early last September.
She weighed just three pounds, fourteen ounces.
Caroline's mother, Stefanie, suffered severe preeclampsia and had to be flown to the University of Maryland in Baltimore shortly after giving birth.
In lieu of birthday gifts, the family collected money to buy a rocking chair for the hospital they credit with saving their lives.
