BEL AIR, Md. — Harford Community College was closed for the rest of the day on Friday due to an unspecified threat.
The Harford County Sheriff's Office reported they have a person of interest in custody.
Officials at the school say this was done out of an abundance of caution as the threat is investigated.
All scheduled classes, events and programs scheduled for Friday are canceled.
There were no reported injuries and the situation appears to be under control at this time.
